Does Japan have American TV channels?

I was wondering because Japan seems to be well informed of American media. There are a lot of TV shows from the states that have Japanese dub or subtitles.

Although many other countries have the same thing, Japan looks more associated with what goes on in the States.

For example, a lot of artists like Britney Spears, Linkin Park, etc go to Japan for concerts.

So I was wondering if Japan has American TV channels because that would explain why there are strong fan bases in Japan for American stars.

how can i get the new britney spears bonus tracks from circus?

they arent all on itunes, some were only if you bought the preorder, and some are only for europe or japan…i cant use limewire so that wont work.

is there another way to get these songs? will itunes release them eventually?
i know that, but even the deluxe version has two of five/six bonus tracks. radar, phonography, and rock me in are ll on itunes in the USA but im looking to find- rock boy, amnesia, and trouble which arent available on itunes
